Korean Skincare in Lebanon
Korean skincare has become the default reference point for routines built on layering, lightweight textures and clearly labelled actives. This page covers what that means in practice, which brands are available in Lebanon, how to build a routine, and how ordering and delivery works here.
What makes Korean skincare different
Three things, mostly:
- Layering — routines are built in steps, applied thinnest to thickest, rather than one product doing everything
- Texture — formulations tend to be lighter, which matters in a hot, humid climate like Lebanon's
- Labelling — actives and their concentrations are usually stated on the front of the pack. Niacinamide 10, retinol 0.2, 77% heartleaf, 72% snail secretion filtrate. You know what you are buying
The routine, in order
You do not need every step. Most people build up gradually.
- Oil cleanser or balm — removes makeup and sunscreen
- Water-based cleanser — removes sweat and water-soluble residue
- Toner — hydration before serums
- Essence — a lighter liquid step
- Serum or ampoule — the targeted step
- Sheet mask — a few times a week, optional
- Eye care — cream, serum or patches
- Moisturiser — seals the layers
- Sunscreen — mornings only, always last
A four-step start is enough: cleanser, toner, moisturiser, sunscreen. Full detail in our routine order guide, or in Arabic: روتين العناية بالبشرة الكوري.

Understanding the ingredients
Korean labels name their actives. The most common ones:
- Centella asiatica (cica) — a plant extract, the base of the SKIN1004 range
- Niacinamide — vitamin B3, usually stated with a percentage
- PDRN — polydeoxyribonucleotide, in Medicube, Anua, Arencia and Abib products
- Peptides — often named specifically, such as Matrixyl 10
- Retinol and retinal — vitamin A derivatives, evening use
- Bakuchiol — a plant-derived alternative for those who avoid retinol
- Ceramides — in barrier creams, sometimes stated in ppm
- Heartleaf — Houttuynia cordata, the Anua signature
- AHA, BHA, PHA — exfoliating acids in pads and clay masks

Sunscreen in the Lebanese climate
Korean sunscreens are popular here because the textures are light. SPF measures UVB protection; PA measures UVA, from PA+ to PA++++. Korean products often show both, such as SPF50+ PA++++.
Four formats are stocked: serum, cream, velvet finish and stick. The stick is the practical one for reapplying over makeup during the day. See our sunscreen guide or in Arabic: واقي الشمس الكوري.

Common questions
Where can I buy Korean skincare in Lebanon?
Kourienty is an online Korean skincare store based in Beirut, delivering across Lebanon. Browse the full catalogue or message us on WhatsApp.
What order do I apply Korean skincare in?
Cleanser, toner, essence, serum, eye care, moisturiser, and sunscreen in the morning. Thinnest to thickest.
How many steps do I actually need?
Four is a complete routine: cleanser, toner, moisturiser, sunscreen. Add a serum once that is consistent.
What does SPF50+ PA++++ mean?
SPF50+ is the highest common UVB rating. PA++++ is the highest UVA rating. Together they indicate broad protection across both ranges.
Which Korean brand should I start with?
It depends on the step you want to fill rather than the brand. SKIN1004 has the widest range in Lebanon at twelve products; COSRX is strongest on blemish care; Dr.Althea covers almost a full routine on its own.
Do you deliver outside Beirut?
Yes, across all of Lebanon, in 3 to 4 working days.
